Week 14: Colours

I agree with this article because I think that the red colour symbolises passion. In my opinion, this colour attracts the most attention and is associated with strong emotions such as love and anger. Red is said to be used universally to signify danger, power and so on. I agree with the fact that the colours which the article talks about symbolise the different things.

 This picture for me represents growth and health, just like the article describes. Green has always had a strong association with peace and is a refreshing colour. It is said to evoke feelings of abundance and a plentiful environment while providing a restful and secure feeling.

 Furthermore, blue, the shade of the sea and the sky, is thought to induce calm and convey tranquillity, serenity and peace. The popular color instils confidence and inspires feelings of trust, loyalty, integrity and responsibility.

 -To improve my english I have been studying phonetics this week.

Week 25: UNDER THE WEATHER WITH THE WEATHER

Welcome to the weather forecast . Now, let’s see what the weather is like today. In the north of the country it’s very windy and cold . There is a chance of some rain too, so don’t leave home without your umbrella! The temperature is around 10º centigrade . In the east it’s rainy all day today, I’m afraid. There may be a thunderstorm in the afternoon. The temperature is a bit higher, at around 13º. In the west and middle of the country the weather is dry, but cloudy . So no rain for you, but it is quite windy and the temperature is just 10º. The south of the country has the best weather today. It’s cloudy most of the time but sunny this afternoon. The temperature is around 15º. Thick mid and high clouds this morning over the state will begin to lift to the north, with just isolated flurries or sprinkles  possible along and north of Route 6 early this morning. As more sun breaks out from south to north through the day, temperatures will reach highs in the mid 70s so
