  • Welcome to the weather forecast. Now, let’s see what the weather is like today. In the north of the country it’s very windy and cold. There is a chance of some rain too, so don’t leave home without your umbrella! The temperature is around 10º centigrade. In the east it’s rainy all day today, I’m afraid. There may be a thunderstorm in the afternoon. The temperature is a bit higher, at around 13º. In the west and middle of the country the weather is dry, but cloudy. So no rain for you, but it is quite windy and the temperature is just 10º. The south of the country has the best weather today. It’s cloudy most of the time but sunny this afternoon. The temperature is around 15º.

  • Thick mid and high clouds this morning over the state will begin to lift to the north, with just isolated flurries or sprinkles possible along and north of Route 6 early this morning. As more sun breaks out from south to north through the day, temperatures will reach highs in the mid 70s south of Pittsburgh, but stay in the 40s in the north central mountains. The wind will get breezy tonight out of the southeast. The wind
    will carry with it Atlantic moisture. This will spread a blanket of clouds and even generate some patchy drizzle into the central and eastern parts of the state. Overnight lows will range from near 40 in the Poconos to the mid 50s in far western PA.
    The clouds will hang on much of the day over the Poconos and central mountains while partly to mostly sunny skies will be elsewhere. A cold front will move in from the west in the late morning and pass though the state by midnight. Showers and thunderstorms will accompany the front. Up to an inch of rain could fall over western PA. Highs on Friday will be in the upper 50s to lower 70s.

Week 5: Dream Jobs

-To begin with, my worst job would be to work as a surgeon, nurse or anything related to treating people with diseases, and blood. I am very fusspot so I do not like to see or touch blood, any wounds or injuries, and so on. I would not be able to draw blood, attend someone who has had any accident, or a labour. Furthermore I do not think I could tell any bad new if the pacient dies, to the family. I would feel terrible if I had to tell someone that their father, daughter, grandfather, sibling.. has died. Or if they have cancer or anything like that. Of course it is not nurses' fault if someone dies or has a disease, but when you tell this kind of news to someone you do not know, you can feel horrible, especially if it is your first time. It must be really hard not just hearing the new, but telling it to the relatives. -My grandmother used to work on a quiosk. She was the boss of the quiosk and my mother and my aunt worked there.
